Day - 39 Why are rain clouds dark?
On sunny days, clouds are good at “bouncing off” light. All the colors of light “bounce off” into your eyes. Together, these colors of light make white light. So, we see clouds as white. But when it rains, clouds get thicker. Less light “bounces off” into your eyes. So, from the ground, rain clouds look gray.
