A strong immune system can keep us from getting sick. But is a strong immune system always a good thing? A healthy immune system doesn’t need to be very strong. Instead, the immune system works best when it is balanced. When the immune system is too strong, it makes people get allergies. When the immune system is too weak, it makes people ill or infected. What causes a very strong immune system? When your body can’t tell the difference between healthy cells and viruses, your immune system can turn against you. This is when the immune system is too strong. Scientist are still finding out why. But they think genetic changes, stress and eating unhealthily can lead to it.
