This week I sit down and get to know Comedian Angie Healy in a very fun chat!
After seeing her stand-up set live, I immediately knew I wanted to get to know Angie given how she slayed her set and owned the stage. There were also some stories sprinkled throughout her jokes, giving a small glimpse into her life and of course, I wanted to dive more into that!
In this episode Angie shares her story of childhood turmoil, the stress of constant family issues, the story of coming out to her parents after feeling the need to hide it for so long, a literal fight with her stepdad leading to police involvement, getting into stand up comedy, fighting the urge to just give things up sometimes & lots more, as always.
