The Sun Set

As played on the 5th of July at the Sunset Bar Hydra..

Soulful and hopefully smooth chilled grooves most of them release in June 2013.

The whole idea was to create the appropriate soundscape to accompany the sunset, which picture up above can even pretend to depict the true glory and purity of what we were seeing..

I had thought for months how and when to use the French accapella, finally I got the opportunity to use it to death!

The sun sat at 1 hour 4 minutes at which time I dropped the sample (yet again) to Sean McCabe’s jam “Move”..

So for those in Europe filling like it, stream or download the set about 1 hour before sunset and share our experience..

Highlights:

“Return To Me” very much the chilled vibe I wanted to set for the whole set and I cannot resist ad lib like that..

Spiritchaser’s “Have You Ever” with the great vocals of Emily Cook and as always Spiritchaser’s perfect production, a gem of a tune.. Buy it!

I head of Samir Maslo on Grant Nelson’s Housecall, “Reach for the Sky” is one of those “happy” tunes sure to lighten up a crowd.

“Mr Weather Man”.. current yet classic soulful track and fitted perfectly in the Sunset vibe.

“Fall For You” another amazing collaboration between KOT and April.. Please rush to Traxsource and buy the package, we want them to continue producing such quality house music!

“Perfectly” Martin Atjazz take on the Layabouts’ gem.. No need to expand

The Director’s Cut of “Bring Me Joy” oh I do love that rich sound of Kupper and Frankie…

“Move” Sean McCable remix was always going to be the track the sun would sat on.. Loving the vibe!
