2019 Aug What is Nu Disco? (again..)

 

Edited the title since i used it way back then. Appears I am still unsur eof waht Nu Disco is...

 

First current set for 12 months with a lot of 2019 releases. In China, other sets should follow.

 

For those enjoying the last rays of the European summer, take the set to the beach, for those who live at the bottom end, take it to the gym or a spin.

 

With the proliferation of House genres, I ended up buying a fair bit of nu disco, which prompted me to wonder what Nu Disco really is. Disco fused with House, synthesizer-heavy production, 2020 Balearic dance music fused with Indie is what it seems to amount to.

Apart from most of the tracks being current, try “It's Not Right but It's Okay” and “Hit It Off” fun tracks!

 

As for the 2 Moon Rocket tracks ending the set, not only they are good but gives me the opportunity to highlight the immense talent of Raffaele Scoccia, aka “Moon Rocket”, a Producer/DJ classically trained composer accomplished piano and Hammond organ player based in New York City.
