Divine love stands apart from human love through its holy, sovereign, and unchanging nature. God's love cannot be separated from His other attributes - it is simultaneously just, righteous, merciful, and all-knowing. Jesus exemplified this divine love through His life and death, demonstrating humble service, ultimate sacrifice, and unconditional forgiveness.To love like Christ means embracing a transformative way of life that includes forgiving others as we've been forgiven, serving sacrificially across all barriers, and treating fellow believers as family. This love requires us to share in others' joys and pains while refusing to let anything divide the body of Christ. Forgiveness plays a central role in Christian love, as it reflects Christ's forgiveness of us, frees us from bitterness, and maintains unity in the church. This supernatural love can only be lived out through God's power and brings glory to Him when demonstrated in community.
