Unity in the church requires putting others' needs before our own preferences, following Christ's example of sacrificial love. Rather than defaulting to self-pleasing behaviors, Christians are called to bear one another's burdens and build each other up. This involves listening without judgment, understanding different perspectives, and maintaining unity while respecting diversity. The focus should be on glorifying God through our relationships with others, not just seeking agreement on every issue.
