The day that Jesus rose from the dead, he did not just quietly depart to Heaven. He wanted people to know that he was alive just as He had told them He would be! Following His resurrection, Jesus spent 40 days on earth being seen by hundreds of people. But that first day he wanted to reveal Himself to those dear to him. Jesus began first by appearing to Mary Magdalen. He came to console her broken heart, encouraging her with love and grace. The resurrection of Jesus changed everything and it is still changing lives today.
