He worked on this concept while he had a full-time job and eventually ended up leaving his full-time position to solely pursue Ticket Time Machine.
In 2018, Matt started Ticket Time Machine after being at a Marlins game where Edinson Vólquez threw a no-hitter. The Marlins offered to print a ticket to replace his mobile one, but they wouldn't customize it with the words "no-hitter." That was the moment his company was born.
