Kelly J. Koch has been an avid reader all of her life. So when she was given the opportunity to read some written by a friend of hers she, of course, jumped at the chance. Upon reading the books she noticed some errors in the books, as all books seem to have now, even those from the major authors. After speaking with the author she was asked to proofread and edit the books for the author. That is how it all began.
Since that time Kelly decided with the help of her friend to begin helping other independent authors get their books edited and published without that aggravation of thousands of rejections from the other publishing houses.
Sitting in her friends living room, Dressing Your Book was born. Dressing Your book was chosen since what we do is dress up your book, with editing and formatting, etc., so that it will look good in print and on the shelf of your local book store.
Since July of 2013 the company has published seven different authors and over 20 books. That may not sound like a lot but for a one person operation we are not doing too bad. Of course, we are always looking for new talent to help get on their way to fame by helping them get their books published.
Check out the website at www.dressingyourbook.com or on Facebook search Dressing Your Book and like our page. You can get updates on what is going on with our company as well as contact us through either of those or e-mail at dressingyourbook@comcast.net.

Wheelchairs 4 Kids provides wheelchairs, home and vehicle modifications as well as other assistive and therapeutic equipment to children with physical disabilities at no charge to the families. We also have an inclusion program called "Wheely Fun Days" that gets our kids out in the community to enjoy activities such as attending baseball games, going behind the scenes at the Grand Prix to meet the drivers, or even meeting Winter the Dolphin up close and personal! We even took them water-skiing using adaptive equipment! Many of our kids are isolated socially. It is our goal to increase awareness that they share the same hopes and dreams as their able-bodied friends and like to discuss the same topics whether it be sports, movies or even celebrity crushes!

Many children living with physical disabilities are in wheelchairs that are too small, in disrepair, or do not fit the needs of the child. Children outgrow their wheelchairs before government or insurance programs will allow for a replacement - on average 5 years! Not only is it unsafe for a child to be in a chair that is inadequate for their needs, but it can impact their health in numerous ways including scoliosis, respiratory problems and pressure sores. In addition, families are faced with trying to care for their special needs children in homes that have not been modified to meet their specific circumstances. Imagine trying to lift your teenager in and out of bed or a bathtub without assistive devices or a modified bathroom. Picture a child in a home where they can't get upstairs. Wheelchairs 4 Kids is prepared to address this much neglected need. But we can't do it without you.

Wheelchairs 4 Kids is meeting the needs of physically disabled children and their families. We have become the "go to" agency of physical therapists, UCP, Children's Medical Services and other advocacy groups for mobility challenged youth. We desperately need the help of caring organizations like yours to provide the needed equipment and modifications that are essential for our kids to be safe and thrive.

Please take a moment and visit our website at www.Wheelchairs4kids.org. You can see our financials there in the "About" drop down menu. We are very proud that over 80% of all funding goes into programs - not administrative costs. We also invite you to become a fan of our Facebook page and subscribe to our YouTube Channel.
