In today's interview, Stephanie sits down with Nourbese Flint, President of All Above All and the All In Action Fund, to discuss abortion rights, reproductive justice, and Black women's leadership. Nourbese is a nationally recognised leader in reproductive justice, fighting to achieve abortion justice and build the political power of voters of colour. Before stepping into her current role, she served as Vice President of Strategy at All* Above All and Senior Director of Black Engagement at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where she built powerful partnerships across racial justice, reproductive justice, and civil rights movements. Nourbese was also the founding Executive Director of Black Women for Wellness Action Project—the first Black women’s reproductive justice 501(c)(4) organisation in the U.S.—where she successfully led campaigns to elect progressive candidates and advance policies that centre Black women’s voices. She has also served as Policy Director for Black Women for Wellness, leading civic engagement and policy advocacy efforts. Beyond her organisational leadership, Nourbese is a founding member of Trust Black Women, a national coalition committed to uplifting and respecting Black women, and a co-founder of the Black Women’s Democratic Club. Her powerful work and advocacy have been featured in MSNBC, CalMatters, Newsweek, and other prominent publications.
