Tucker & the Boneheads
Listeners of this podcast are aware I’m a huge Tucker Carlson fan. I recorded his show nightly to watch over coffee the following morning. I often used Carlson’s material as a source for some of my commentaries. Occasionally, he was the impetus behind the commentary. Carlson was unafraid to go up against politicians from both sides of the aisle, as well as the mainstream-propagandist media and those woke corporations who tried to flex their muscles. I thought so much of him I resigned a column in a newspaper over their slanted criticism of Carlson.So...

Alan Rusbridger was the editor of the Guardian for over 20 years and during that time he took on Rupert Murdoch when no one else would. Journalists at the Guardian uncovered the infamous phone hacking scandal...

Exploring the Unlikely Alliance Between Roy Cohn, Rupert Murdoch, and Ronald Reagan, and The Origins of Fox News
The story Rupert Murdoch doesn't want you to know about the beginnings of Fox News. My guest is Pulitzer award winner David L Marcus, Roy Cohn's cousin. This episode explores the unlikely alliance between Roy Cohn, Rupert Murdoch, and Ronald Reagan. We delve into how Rupert Murdoch gained traction in the media business in exchange for positive write-ups for Ronald Reagan in the New York Post. We explore Cohn's "Favor Bank" style of bartering, the close relationship between Ronald Reagan and Murdoch, and how this led to Murdoch getting sweetheart deals from Reagan's FCC.
