Wer diese ungemein poetischen Verse „Bier her, Bier her oder ich fall um“ eines deutschen Trinklieds gedichtet hat, ist nicht überliefert. Es könnten aber durchaus junge Nachwuchs-Akademiker gewesen sein. In Studentenkreisen hat sich schließlich eine ganz besondere Gattung des Musiktheaters entwickelt. Und das ist jetzt echt bier-ernst gemeint: die so genannte Bieroper.
Zwei Jenaer Studenten blödeln sich munter durch die Wein- und Bierseligkeit. Darum geht es grob gesagt im „Jenaischen Wein und Bierrufer“. Das komische Singspielchen gilt als Prototyp der Bieroper.
