LSU baseball team won their second game of the weekend against Dartmouth, 3-0, thanks to exceptional pitching that compensated for a lackluster offense. The Tigers scored all their runs on sun-lost fly balls, including a double from shortstop Steven Milam and timely hits from right fielder Jake Brown.
The team hit fourteen fly balls but only managed a few hits, along with nine strikeouts. Coach Jay Johnson expressed optimism that these fly balls could turn into hard line drives as the season progresses.
