We have all reset our goals for the New Year but one of the main goals that makes everybody's list is...weight loss. If shedding physical lbs seems to be top priority, what about lightening our spiritual load as well. For me, carrying too many weights in my Spirit definitely slowed me down from achieving the things God gave me. Not only my goals but my walk with God as well. Leaving the holidays and entering a new year, many feel a wave of disappointment over what could have been or the things we expected to happen. For me, it was the promises and expectations I thought God would finally bring to pass. As much as I hated to admit it to Him, disappointment hit me hard. But I found that being honest with God about my feelings and giving them over to Him relieved me of the weight of "what-ifs" and regret.
