忘记进行警察局注册的话，官方说法是当入境时没有登记或延迟登记则可能会面临高达1000磅的罚款。在实际操作过程中，还是比较人性化的，一般来说第一次都是口头警告。如果情况比较严重，发生了第二次（比如学生搬家等忘记进行登记注册），会在签证纸上加盖一个红章，反复发生这种情况的话就有可能面临罚款。将来在英国境内续签时，会直接对签证的下发造成影响。
