นายเฉินซื่อฟง รองอธิบดีกรมศุลกากรไต้หวันระบุว่า สินค้าส่งออกของไต้หวันต้องปฏิบัติตามระเบียบปฏิบัติสินค้าส่งออกและกฎหมายการค้าระหว่างประเทศของไต้หวัน ระบุแหล่งกำเนิดสินค้าให้ถูกต้อง หากถูกตรวจพบว่ามีการระบุไม่ตรงกับความจริงก็จะต้องส่งให้กรมการค้าต่างประเทศเป็นผู้พิจารณาลงโทษ จึงขอให้ผู้ส่งออกปฏิบัติตามกฎระเบียบให้ถูกต้อง
นายเฉินฯ ระบุเพิ่มเติมว่า ระเบียบการส่งออกสินค้าของไต้หวันระบุชัดว่า ต้องระบุฉลากบนสินค้าให้ชัดเจนถึงแหล่งผลิตว่า “ผลิตโดยสาธารณรัฐจีน” “ผลิตโดยไต้หวัน สาธารณรัฐจีน” หรือ “ผลิตโดยไต้หวัน” หรือใช้ข้อความภาษาต่างชาติที่มีความหมายเดียวกัน โดยจะต้องติดฉลากไว้ในที่ที่เห็นได้ชัดเจน และติดอย่างแน่นหนา แต่คุณลักษณะพิเศษของสินค้าหรือการบรรจุหีบห่อทำให้ไม่อาจติดฉลากได้ตามระเบียบ ก็อาจยื่นขออนุญาตเป็นกรณีพิเศษต่อกรมการค้าต่างประเทศได้
