The Prayer of St. Patrick

We tend to think:
God is in Heaven
God is in our hearts
God is in church
God is up and far away in the heavens,
but also intimately close in all directions.
God is in our hearts,

We often prefer the familiarity of slavery over the unknowns of freedom.
God's Spirit will point us backwards to remember what He has done in the past, but will only call us to move in one direction -- forward.
