Tales From The Crypt “Collection Completed” with Michelle Suter-Shoemaker
What a fun week it’s been talking Tales From The Crypt with friends on the show! We close out with the appropriately titled “Collection Completed” featuring the return of Michelle Suter-Shoemaker. Michelle, who is the horror host of sorts for the anthology horror podcast we produce called Don’t Flinch. Feels right to have her here to close out. This episode comes from Mary Lambert, the director of Pet Sematary and knowing that feels like this episode was crafted to harness in on that. It also features a pretty raging performance from M. Emmett Walsh. Tales closes i...

Closing With A Song: “Regulate” by Warren G & Nate Dogg
For this soundtrack week, why not one of the heaviest rotation videos from MTV, Warren G & Nate Dogg’s “Regulate”. It’s a song and video firmly stored in your brain forever. From the Above The Rim soundtrack, we were all tweaking into a whole new era. Step to this, I dare ya! Joining me for discussion is Michelle Suter-Shoemaker from Monday’s episode. Somewhere in the middle of the decade, the soundtrack became almost as important as the film itself. They even got away from the songs being used as a single even having something to do...

Closing With A Song: “Ready Or Not” by The Fugees
It feels as if right when The Fugees took off, they were no more. As a matter of fact that’s exactly how it played out. They all went solo. “Killing Me Softly” was a phenomenon, but the next music video was extremely influential on the hip hop music video world. “Ready or Not” had a huge budget and featured a lot of money thrown on the screen. Gone was the party and hanging out style, in was the militarized Michael Bay-style action premise. Sharareh Drury is back as we go over this substantial video and kick ass song.
