Wo die meisten Menschen nur Bahnhof verstehen, ist Alltag bei Silvan Zenklusen. Der Briger doktorierte an der Eidgenössischen Technischen Hochschule in Zürich in Physik. Bereits in frühen Jahren interessierte sich Zenklusen für Naturwissenschaften. Schon im Kollegium schlug er diesen Weg ein, wo er später auch als Physik-Aushilfslehrer tätig war.
