ตรุษจีนใกล้เข้ามาแล้ว ปีนี้หยุดยาวถึง 9 วัน เริ่มตั้งแต่วันที่ 29 ม.ค.-6 ก.พ. แม้จะเป็นวันหยุดยาว แต่คงอดเที่ยว เพราะสถานการณ์โควิดรอบใหม่ปะทุขึ้น โดยเฉพาะที่นครเถาหยวน หลังจากวันที่ 2 ของปีใหม่ พบพนักงานทำความสะอาดสนามบินเถาหยวน ติดเชื้อโควิดสายพันธุ์โอมิครอนรายแรก พนักงานรายนี้ไปเปิดแผงลอยขายของหารายได้เสริมในตลาดสดจงเจิน ในเขตจงลี่ ทำให้วันต่อมาผู้ป่วยยืนยันเพิ่มเป็น 4 คน จากนั้นลุกลามต่อเนื่องไปถึงธนาคาร Union Bank สาขาจงลี่ และ Tasty ร้านสเต๊กชื่อดังสาขาจงลี่ จนถึงวันที่ 22 มกราคมนี้ ผู้ป่วยยืนยันเพิ่มเป็น 209 คน มีทั้งพนักงานทำความสะอาด คนขับรถแท็กซี่ป้องกันโควิดรับส่งผู้โดยสารจากสนามบินไปสถานที่กักกัน สมาชิกชมรมร้องเพลงคาราโอเกะ พนักงานเก็บรถเข็นสัมภาระในสนามบิน ผู้ให้บริการดูแลคนสูงอายุประจำบ้าน พนักงานในโรงงาน พนักงานธนาคาร พนักงานร้านอาหาร ลูกค้าที่ไปรับประทานอาหารในร้าน ครู นักเรียน โดยครอบคลุมอายุตั้งแต่ 5 ขวบไปจนถึง 70 ปี
Tasty ร้านสเต๊กชื่อดังสาขาจงลี่ ณ วันที่ 22 มกราคมนี้ ผู้ป่วยโควิดเพิ่มเป็น 129 คน
เฉพาะที่ร้าน Tasty ผู้มีติดเชื้อแล้ว 129 คน และที่สำคัญเด็กนักเรียนในเถาหยวนติดเชื้อแล้ว 17 คน ผู้ที่เคยสัมผัสกับผู้ป่วยถูกเรียกไปกักตัวมากกว่า 3,000 คน
หลัง Askey Computer Corp. มีพนักงานติดเชื้อโควิดเพิ่มเป็น 70 คน โรงงานต่างๆ ในบริเวณเดียวกันถูกเรียกตัวไปตรวจ PCR หลายพันคน
ที่น่าเป็นห่วงคือ เถาหยวนเป็นเมืองที่เต็มไปด้วยโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆ มากมาย แรงงานต่างชาติมีจำนวนกว่า 110,000 คน หรือ แรงงานต่างชาติในไต้หวันทุก 6 คน จะมี 1 คนทำงานอยู่ในเถาหยวน สำหรับแรงงานไทย ทุก 4 คน มี 1 คนทำงานอยู่ที่นี่ ขณะนี้มีโรงงานที่พบผู้ป่วยโควิดหลายโรงงาน ที่หนักสุดคือ Askey Computer Corp. บริษัทผลิตอุปกรณ์ 5G ในเครือ ASUS ที่เขตต้าหยวน ใกล้สนามบินเถาหยวน ว่าจ้างแรงงานฟิลิปปินส์ชาติเดียวกว่า 380 คน แต่ช่วงปลายปีที่แล้วและต้นปีนี้ ทยอยรับโอนย้ายแรงงานไทยมาทำงาน 5 คน ณ วันที่ 22 ม.ค. โรงงานนี้ มีพนักงานติดเชื้อ 70 คน เป็นคนงานฟิลิปปินส์ 63 คน พนักงานท้องถิ่น 7 คน ส่วนแรงงานไทยทั้ง 5 คนปลอดภัย กระนั้นก็ตาม ทั้งหมดถูกพาไปกักตัวที่สถานกักกันของรัฐ นอกจากผู้ที่สัมผัสใกล้ชิดต้องไปรับการตรวจ CPR และถูกส่งไปกักตัว โรงงานยังต้องหยุดงาน 7-14 วัน และเนื่องจาก Askey Computer Corp. ตั้งอยู่ในอาคารของ Farglory FTZ ซึ่งมี 2 อาคาร ภายในเป็นที่ตั้งของโรงงานอีก 30 แห่งซึ่งใช้อุปกรณ์สาธารณะร่วมกันต้องหยุดงานทั้งหมดชั่วคราว ทำให้เดือดร้อนทั้งนายจ้างและตัวคนงานเอง เพราะฉะนั้น ช่วงนี้ แรงงานไทยต้องป้องกันความปลอดภัยจากการติดเชื้อ ด้วยการหลีกเลี่ยงออกนอกสถานที่ โดยเฉพาะคนที่ทำงานอยู่ในนครเถาหยวน เมื่อมีความจำเป็นต้องไปใช้บริการนอกสถานที่ ต้องสวมหน้ากากมิดชิด ต้องใช้ระบบยืนยันตัวตนด้วยการสแกน QRCode กลับโรงงานหรือหอพักแล้วต้องล้างมือด้วยสบู่....
