Max was the first student from Kazakhstan to come to BYUH. He grew up as a shepherd boy sitting on a horse in the desert while herding over 2000 sheep. He served his mission in Ukraine and was recommended to come to BYUH by a senior missionary couple. Today, he works for Shell Oil and Gas as a Key Account Manager.
