MASSIVE Controversy Sparked by debate: Do MUSLIMS worship the same God? #276
Recently Cameron Bertuzzi, host of Capturing Christianity, held a debate between Catholics and Eastern Orthodox on the topic "do Muslims and Christians worship the same God?" This question has sparked intense discussion across Christian YouTube, with responses from apologists and theologians, as well as, the comments turning on Cameron and Catholics for holding this WILD view. In this video, we explain why from the Bible Muslims and Christians do not worship the same God and we show the faulty reasoning Catholics use to defend their claim. We examine theological differences in God’s nature, Jesus’ divinity, and the Trinity. If y...

The Rise and Fall of Capturing Christianity
#TCS #TheChurchSplit Once, Capturing Christianity was a thriving YouTube channel dedicated to exploring the intellectual side of Christianity. Cameron Bertuzzi built a platform that welcomed deep conversations between Protestants, Catholics, and skeptics alike. His ecumenical approach exposed many to the richness of Christian thought, making his channel a go-to resource for those wrestling with faith and philosophy. However, after his conversion to Roman Catholicism, things took a drastic turn. Instead of continuing in the spirit of bridge-building, Cameron has increasingly focused on attacking Protestantism—the very tradition that built his audience and supported his work for years. As a re...

Hansen provides a detailed analysis of the translation process, highlighting the complexities and controversies surrounding it. He addresses common misconceptions about Joseph Smith's use of the so-called Egyptian alphabet and grammar documents, clarifying that these were not directly linked to the translation of the Book...

Dr. Ward Crocker joins Dr. Miller to discuss a YouTube event hosted by Capturing Christianity in which apologist Cameron Bertuzzi interviews atheist philosopher Philip Goff about his self-professed conversion to “heretical Christianity.” In his social media promotion on X, Betuzzi proclaimed, “Big news Philip Goff just announced his conversion to Christianity on our channel. The Diving Board, Episode 14
In our third episode on the conversion of Cameron Bertuzzi, we briefly analyze the Jimmy Akin argument for the lack of evidence of the papacy in the early church, and then examine the Peter-Eliakim typological argument proposed by Suan Sonna. Both men were influential in Cameron's conversion, but both are shown to be grossly unfamiliar with the history upon which their arguments are ostensibly based. As we have shown in the prior episodes, Cameron converted based on the ignorance and the flawed arguments of his Roman Catholic counselors.

CC049: The Euthyphro Dilemma - Matt Flannagan vs Jason Thibodeau
The Euthyphro Dilemma says that either God has reasons for his commands or He doesn’t. Take the second option. God has no reasons for His commands. Well then God’s commands are arbitrary–however, morality can’t be arbitrary. Now take the first option. God has reasons for His commands. Well then these reasons themselves are sufficient to give us moral obligations. No need for God. The Euthyphro Dilemma is meant to show that grounding morality in God is misguided. Jason argues that the Euthyphro Dilemma is sound, Matt argues it is not. Link to the YouTube Video: https://www.yout...

From the Big Bang to Homosexuality to the Problem of Evil, in this interview, Dr. Jerry Walls and I answer some of the hottest objections to Christianity. We couldn't cover everything, so we limited the objections to 5 of the most common we see and hear from culture. They aren't difficult; however, they are the kind of questions that ordinary church people need to really reflect on and think about. Here they are for reference: 1. Evolution/Big Bang proves that Christianity is false. (6:30) 2. People believe in God because of wish fulfillment. (12:50) 3. The Bible seems like it was written by a bunch...

Chris Date, an annihilationist, runs a website called Rethinking Hell where he defends a "conditional immortality" perspective. Jason Crowder is a traditionalist, he believes that hell is eternal.
