Mit Moritz Eggert, Annette Schlünz, Caspar de Gelmini und Fabian Russ hat das Forum Zeitgenössischer Musik 4 Künstlerinnen...2015-02-0826 minCaspar de GelminiCaspar de GelminiOrbit (Percussion + Electronics; Live in Zepernick 2014)In 2012 I began to use contexts of Astrophysics in my music. During that time I wrote "Alpha Centauri" for Orchestra, based on radiofrequency Spectrums of the Nasa and the Esa (for example: http://www.esa.int/Our_Activities/Space_Science/Cassini-Huygens/Sounds_of_an_alien_world). When you have Radio Frequency Spectrums, you can synthesize them, by the use of modern Programming-Software like Open Music and CSound. I transfered in "Alpha Centauri", some Spectrums of the Cassiny Huygens Mission directly to Music Notation. In "Orbit" I did the Opposit: I made a synthesis of Sounds of the Planets (Earth, Mars...2014-10-1909 minCaspar de GelminiCaspar de GelminiPaysage UrbainWritten for Ensemble Recherche, premiered at Stuttgart Music Conservatoire in Summer 2014. "Paysage Urbain" was inspired by the Sounds of the big Cities. I was useing Fieldrecordings and analysed them and their harmonic Structure. The Fieldrecordings were done at Airports, Railway - Stations, Malls, the Metro, etc. I analysed the harmonic Structures and used Models and Objects that I found in Master - Pieces of Spectral Music, like Murail, Grisey, Haas, etc. I used so called "additive Musical Grammar" in Open Music, a technic that is related to the technics of Philippe Manoury. The mood is inspired by some great Works...2014-09-0512 minCaspar de GelminiCaspar de GelminiOrbit (Only Electronics)A new piece for Percussion and Electronic, also possible as tape - piece. The piece was done in the electronic Studio of the Musikhochschule Stuttgart. I was basically useing Csound and ProTools for the realisation. An additional percussion Part was added for the Festival "Randfestspiel" in Zepernick by Berlin for a performance in September 2014. The piece is basically about the principals of Chomsky for the organisation of spectral Material in the Electronics (Jean Claude Risset Scales, Harmonic Spectrums, Inharmonic Spectrums and the Varése Scales). The percussion Part is useing a Set Up, that is inspired by Raphael Cendo's piece "B...2014-07-0608 minCaspar de GelminiCaspar de GelminiPlayersParadiseWindensemble and Percussion, Orchestra of the Theatre of Halberstadt, November 2013 In this piece you hear the orchestration of ships of the harbour of Hamburg, especially the Queen Mary 2. The idea was to orchestrate a YouTube Clip that you can find hear: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfnZRm4SGzg The idea was basically the following: How could a music create basically from a YouTube Clip and the Analysis of the Pitch-Structure, with Audiosculpt, Spear and Open Music. In my Opinion you can hear the idea very clear, especially in the Ending of the piece. In a way it is comparable...2013-11-1612 minCaspar de GelminiCaspar de GelminiYsPlayed by Ensemble Intercontemporain at the IRCAM Manifeste - Festival 2012 in Paris. IRCAM: http://medias.ircam.fr/xe20355_ys-a-imaginary-roadmovie-from-paris-to-dou YS Ys was a piece that reflects some moments of French Music, starting with Debussy, Messiaen, Grisey, Xenakis, Murail and also younger Composers like Raphael Cendo or Pierre Jodlowski. The motto of the piece is connected to the Debussy Prelude of the sunken Cathedral. It was following not only a spectral Approach from the harmonic Side, but also a "essayistic" Approach. The absoulute Scary thing happens after the performance of the piece: In the near of Douarnenez lies a Ship, a...2013-06-0613 minCaspar de GelminiCaspar de GelminiVarèseAkkordeon Duo, Berlin, November 20122013-06-0407 minCaspar de GelminiCaspar de GelminiJapanische MiniaturenSmall Ensemble, Ensemble Work in Progress Berlin, Konzerthaus Berlin, May 20122013-06-0129 minCaspar de GelminiCaspar de GelminiFarbenOrchester with four Speakers, Maulwerker, Herkulessaal, Munich, October 2008 In Television on Bayern Alpha on June, 15th: http://www.br.de/fernsehen/br-alpha/programmkalender/sendung-584050.html2013-04-2012 minCaspar de GelminiCaspar de GelminiNightlineBavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Herkulessaal, Munich, October 20102013-04-2017 min
