2. 保羅可能是要指出兩件事：能吃什麼 (猶太基督徒遵守妥拉，守食物律)，哪天才算是安息日 (猶太基督徒認為星期五傍晚到星期六才是真的安息日)。不同信仰與神學認識的不同背景的人，在同一個信仰團體裡。
3. 比如：教會對於同志LGBTQ的認識，是與信仰團體的共同生活規範的張力連結，與信仰傳統，與對經文與神學有深厚的連結。這樣的張力，並不是彼此看不順眼而已。這樣的爭論一直都在。
4. 聯合基督教會 (United Church of Christ, USA) 在1972年按立公開出櫃的男同志牧師，在1985年通過教派為Open and Affirming對同志友善與支持的教派，在2005年成為第一個主流教派支持婚姻平權。即便如此，在2019年的總會(General Synod)，仍有對同志議題持保守觀點的地方教會，提出了「第八號提案」(Resolution No. 8)，在總會中進行數小時的討論，讓有意見的人得以持續對話。
5. 如何在各種場域與討論當中，在「我們都信上帝」的彼此認識中，可以面對差異及衝突。這是考驗著信仰團體裡的每一個人，要更肯認「我們都是信上帝的人」，都是在學習的過程，讓上帝引導，彼此指點與扶持。
