Our journey through training, running, and recovering from running our first half marathon was a personal victory for us both and Brian! Pre-race shopping in Griffin, Monday Night Brewery’s Taco Tuesday beer at the Georgia Aquarium expo, and exploring Atlanta’s MARTA transportation system all played equal parts to our training programs so we were ready for race day. A rainy race day didn’t stop us from getting pumped and enjoying all the positive vibes from the cheering fans. ( - said only Carlie)
