The Waco Police Department and Prosper Waco have teamed up to create the Waco Connect program which helps employ a Social Worker at the PD. This Social Worker is tasked to help those who have frequent run-ins with law enforcement but just need a little extra help to get them back on their feet. That's where DeAngela comes in, she started at the PD in August and has so far made an impact on many in the community, connecting them to much needed recourses.
