Jim has had such a varied carrier in Community Learning and Development starting from being a Trainee in the County of Lanark in the 70's, becoming area manager for various local authorities and then becoming the Chief Executive of Youth Link Scotland for 12 years.
During this time Jim gained his Diploma in Youth work and Community Service (DipYCS) at Jordanhill 74/76. Then went on to complete his Masters Degree in Msc Advanced Professional Studies at Strathclyde University in 2001.
