LegacyS1E189 デジタルリトルニコン「D40」２年越しに欲しい欲しいと言っていたデジタル一眼レフを買いました。ちょっと早めのクリスマスプレゼントです。機能をばっさり削ってシンプルにコンパクトにまとめたD40。印象としては、十分に一眼レフとしての面白さは味わえるし、コストパフォーマンスの高いカメラだなと。Love is / Stereomovers a prayer for a silent night / kcsaito & wangmoh今回、アップルが .Macメンバーに向けて無料で提供したばかりの Podcast Pack を少しですが使ってみてます。（冒頭のとかもそうです）ポッドキャスト用のジングルとかですが、850MBもありましたよ、全部で。ありがとう、アップル。てことで、NikonのD40というデジタル一眼レフカメラを買いました。思えば、２年前くらいからデジタル一眼レフを欲しいなぁなんて言っていたので、ようやくといった感じですが。本当はD80が欲しかったのですが、冷静に考えるとD40の２倍の値段。それでも、ただ機能が少ないだけ、だったらあまり惹かれなかったとは思うのですが、このD40はそれまでのD70やD80、D50よりも考え方が違うというかばっさりと削っていて、違う路線に見えた。上の液晶なんかとっちゃって、ボディにオートフォーカスのモーターとかとっちゃって。なんでも、一昔前、1980年（海外では一足早い1979年）に発売されたNikon EMという製品が「リトルニコン」という愛称で親しまれていたらしく、これもエントリーモデルとして割り切った仕様として、小型化と操作の簡素化を重視した設計だったらしく、発売当時は日本ではあまり受け入れられなかったようだが、往年のニコンファンには愛用者も多いようだ。Nikon EM - 私が間違っておりました。 - 楽天ブログ（Blog）往年のニコンファンならば、「リトルニコン」と言う可愛らしい愛称がついていたことはご存知であろう。その名の通り、掌の中にすっぽり納まるボディサイズは、それだけで妙にそそるものがある。小刻み巻き上げが可能であったり、ファインダーで思いのほかピントの山がつかみやすかったりと、廉価なカメラとは言え、その辺りは腐ってもニコンである。 特筆すべきは、やはりそのコンパクトでまとまりのあるデザインで、個人的には、ニコンの一眼レフの中でも歴史に残るべき一台であると認識している。このD40は、その「リトルニコン」とコンセプトも似ており、やはり、一部で「デジタルリトルニコン」なんて呼ぶ人もいるようだ。ただ、レンズによってはオートフォーカスが使えないということがある。だから、使えるレンズが少ないというデメリットもあるのだが、個人的にはマニュアルフォーカスでも面白いなと。それと、古いマニュアルフォーカスのレンズ所有者から指示されているそうだ。ITmedia +D LifeStyle：実売6万円で買えるニコン党入門機??「D40」 (4/4) 従来機D50は女性を中心としたファミリー層を狙ったが、同クラスのライバル機に比べてやや大きなボディだった。そこで今回は古くからのニコンユーザーを切り捨てて小型軽量化を図り、パパママカメラとしての性格をより明らかにしたというわけだ。 しかし結果的には、切り捨てられるどころか、そもそもマニュアルでしか使えないマニュアルフォーカスの古いレンズ所有者からも支持を得ているようだ。何が売れるかわからない。いやいや、しばらくは楽しめそうだ。 LISTENで開く2006-12-2215 min
