Mai stand beim Dok.fest Festival in München das afrikanische Kino im Mittelpunkt der „Africa encounters“ und der Dokumentarfilmreihe „Generation Afrika, Migration neu erzählen“, ein Projekt von dem südafrikanischen Non-Profit-Medienunternehmen STEPS. In diesem Projekt teilen junge Filmemacher*innen aus dem ganzen Kontinent ihre Erzählungen über Migration. Dabei sind es rohe und kritische Erzählungen von jungen Menschen, die darauf abzielen, das Narrativ der Migration in Afrika zu verändern.

Das Filmfestival der Menschenrechte Nürnberg hat sich mit 19 weiteren Festivals zu einem bayerischen Verband zusammen geschlossen. Was uns Nürnberger natürlich besonders freut und stolz macht ist, dass „wir“ als das NIHRFF gleich zu Beginn den Vorsitz übernommen hat.
