Michael J. Socolow has been awarded the 2018 Broadcast Historian Award for his book, Six Minutes in Berlin: Broadcast Spectacle and Rowing Gold at the Nazi Olympics. The award is given to an educator who has published or produced work specifically related to broadcast/media history by the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation (LABF) in partnership with the Broadcast Education Association (BEA).
