Warteschleifen sind Teil des Alltags. Sie strukturieren Zeit, lenken Aufmerksamkeit und erzeugen das Gefühl von Kontrolle – oder von Kontrollverlust. Die Ausstellung Holding Pattern – Warteschleifen und andere Loops im HMKV Dortmund nimmt diese scheinbar beiläufigen Strukturen ernst. Sie fragt, wie digitale Technologien, algorithmische Prozesse und mediale Systeme soziale Abläufe formen, ohne sich klar zu zeigen.
