Daphnie’s college studies in psychology deepened her understanding of trauma along with her committed journey to her own healing. Daphnie had the chance to attend the Saprea retreat, a program designed specifically for women who have experienced childhood sexual trauma. While there, she participated in a Kintsugi bowl exercise which allowed her to see how putting back together the broken parts of a ceramic bowl can provide a greater understanding of how her own broken parts are also reassembled.
