要了命了，在 Lunuganga 庄园呆了接近24小时之后，胡工已经魂穿巴瓦这位公子哥：「啊，我的庄园真好看！」……扶额。
杰弗里·巴瓦(Geoffrey Bawa)，1919生人，2003去世。
他在剑桥念法律，却爱上建筑，甚至还接到了建筑项目，却发现自己并没有能力去做，结果又跑去伦敦重新念书。他的 personality 太浓烈：公子哥，喜欢车，喜欢摄影，喜欢全世界收集古董和艺术品，与艺术家们做朋友，往来无白丁。
这些都承载在了他的作品上。尤其是最具有代表性的三个项目，也是我们本次所探访的三个作品：他在科伦坡市区的家，他在科伦坡的工作室，以及他在Lunuganga的庄园。我们详细分享了这三个作品的参观体验，出乎意料地将他的庄园景观和拉萨、苏州园林、墨西哥巴拉干的作品进行并置讨论。
他的人生、他的审美、他的作品，也是斯里兰卡这个地方的浓缩，充分体现了这个岛国在民族、宗教、建筑、食物等等各方面的多元融合。
我们坐庄园角落的青石台阶上，四处无人，讲话都轻了、慢了（所以需要调大音量来听，音质相对一般），背景里是远远近近的鸟鸣，松鼠笃笃笃笃的叫声（是的，第一次知道松鼠会叫！），以及不断挠蚊子包的声音（真的好痒）。
