Romance and a piano
There's something familiar about the intro piano that eventually breaks free from its diatonic confines to adopt some parallel harmonies. Please enjoy the string section counter melody.. if you want to.

The Middle Of The East End
Quadruple tracked guitars weave to and fro amidst a couple of pianos, basso continuo, trombones, and an oboe as the principle middle eastern inspired theme is thrown into a giant sling shot and aimed as western Europe... figuratively speaking.

A Decade Inside Out (hypnotic, heroic, rhythmic)
A night time driving scene. An emotionally frenetic grand prix to save that certain someone from a deranged sociopath. Processed guitar drones lead the charge flanked by percussion electroníque, string bass, french horn, and various pads. The 'crescendo al outro' leads you to a unquestionably surprising climax.

George (Action, Espoinage)
Just after the onset of 2018, like January 1st or 2nd I mean, I learned of the Spitfire audio Albion One competition... the deadline? January 9th. I wrote this cue, simply but affectionately titled "George", which I scored to the video provided by Spitfire. It has become my homage, my tribute, to telemarketers who in their haste to sell me their wares manage to mispronounce Grégoire as George 80 - 90% of the time. Kind regards and a happy new year to all of you. Video link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guHqcUW_uFQ&list=PLOMzutIFXnzrUQBg_kUECC3R0QxRCqbT3&index=2

I hope that when my life ceases as I currently know it, and if there is in fact some sort of journey or dimensional shift, that there will be a soundtrack while I'm in transit. I wrote this piece for a dear friend. I imagine she'd be listening to something like this piece while she's on her way.

Departure (Mystery, discovery)
We're a few drafts deep on this one having made adjustments to percussion performances, the synth player's haircut, and overall mix. Here is the ready for broadcast version of 'Departure'. This piece is meant to tell the story of a person searching for a long known but lost truth that had been masked by a culture of lies and unclean and deceitful politics. So a subversive, dramatic, espionage piece, non? Ouí.

Americana (Modern orchestral, robust, triumphant)
Long drawn strings, horns, and winds meet kinetic percussion & piano in this American inspired cue. At the theme's peak there is a Barber-esque climb in the strings as the final chord, in a twist, resolves in Iberian style.

10.7.2017, Agatha
The hi-hat pedal is the back-bone of this piece. Every moment, until this piece ultimately dies, has at its core the pulse of the hi-hat. The changing themes are intended to encourage the listener/viewer to look at their experiences as they relate fundamentally to their core person, values, beliefs, however they care to regard their essence. This essence manifests in the piece through the steadfastness of the hi-hat as the flesh around it evolves.

Sigo Aquí (solo guitar, passion, anguish)
"I'm Still Here" was an improvised recording whilst setting up microphones a few days . It's all one take with the exception of a second melody guitar which supports the final theme of the piece. The emotional intention was to establish a bit of quiet strife and anguish which ultimately gives way to standing back up, rubbing some dirt in it, and making oneself whole again.

Butterfly in the Big City (Energetic, playful, harmonic)
A humorous, funky introduction is soon met with a minimal orchestral accompaniment to set a playful mode which gives way to the principle harmonic theme that the rest of the piece is built on. That progression is bowled over by a massive fanfare of blaring horns, overblown winds, big timpani, and a retro electronic drum kit.

16.4.2017, Synthbiosys
This track opens with soft, mysterious pads, glitchy guitar stabs, a trio of percussion loops, and irregularly tape delayed synth stabs. Colorful guitar and synth voices join hands with analogue and acoustic drum kits and cycles before yielding to a trippy, spacious conclusion.
