On July 15, 2019, the bodies of Chynna Deese and Lucas Fowler were found by highway 97 in BC, Canada. A couple days later the body of Leonard Dyck would be found, along with the burned-out truck belonging to Kam McLeod. These discoveries sparked a Canada-wide manhunt for Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky which would take RCMP all the way to Northern Manitoba.
