Every donation makes a difference: https...2023-12-2106 min愛、生活、人生系列愛、生活、人生系列自私自利 vs. 合作性冒險自私自利 vs. 合作性冒險      當聽到有人對我們說:「你好自私喔!」,毫無疑問的,這是對我們的批評。這個訊息很明確:我們花太多的注意力,在自己想要的、需要的,或是個人的福利上,卻忽略了去關注別人的需求。自私的行為,常常被認為是不道德的。一個好人,會先在腦海裡想到別人,願意付出的,總是比得到的要多,不會問這個國家為我做了什麼,而是問我為國家做了什麼!根據心理學專家們的見解,他們也認為自私的行為,不僅僅是不道德,也會對我們自己的心理健康及福祉,帶來壞處。許多研究,亦都支持這個諺語:「如果你想要這一生快樂,那就去幫助別人吧!」然而,看了夠多的書籍後,我們也會發現,許許多多的觀點,常常都標榜要自私自利,也就是說,我們要先為自己著想,把自己先顧好,我們才能有餘力,推己及人。這樣,不是很矛盾嗎?當我們在談自我照顧時,指得是我們把自己的生理健康,心理健康及福祉,放在優先順位上,讓自己投入更好的飲食習慣、運動、睡眠、懂得放鬆、讓自己能夠先享受。這樣的自私自利,到底好不好?如果我們不先照顧好自己,我們也沒有餘力,去照顧身邊的人,不是嗎?      所以,自私自利(就是先想到自己)到底是好,還是壞呢?在現實生活中,真的有很多人,為了自己的利益,帶給別人不好的後果,例如騷擾、偷竊、詐欺等。Harry Browne (An American writer, politician, and investment advisor) 認為利用暴力帶來的威脅,從別人身上得到自己想要的,或是得到別人不想要給我們的,是一種「單邊的交換」。Stephen Richards Covey (An American educator, author, businessman, and speaker) 稱這種交換為,「全贏全輸的交換」。全贏全輸的交換,是一個人得到了,而另一個人卻有所損失。在生活中,最常見的,就是自己爽,別人卻很痛苦。譬如,如果我想要逼你去做你不想要做的事情,我會想辦法讓你感到罪惡感,或是用謾罵,讓你不開心,逼你去做,最終,我會獲得自己想要的,而你卻必須付出代價。然而,這種單邊的,或是全贏全輸的交換,並非總是對自己最有利的,因為,它會產生負面的後果,勝過我們可以得到的短暫利益。想想看,如果我們讓身邊的人,變得很不甘願跟我們合作,他們甚至可能會尋求報復,那會有什麼樣的結果呢?個人的名聲與信用,絕不是一件無關緊要的事,因為,我們的幸福,不可能是我們孤獨一人去達成的。想要快樂,我們需要與別人有所連結,形成與我們喜歡的、愛的、尊重的人之間的網絡。如果我們希望有這種網絡,我們就必須很公平地對待每個人。這種用單邊的交換,作為手段的人,是很自私的人,不僅對自己不好,也讓身邊的人受害。      社會上,還有一種自私,我們稱為「中性的自私」。中性的自私,是我們在尋找自己的福祉時,避免直接,或是可能地去牽涉到其他人。例如,我願意花五分鐘去刷牙,就可以避免牙齒的疾病,而這種行為,很浪費時間,卻不會妨礙他人。又如,我每天早上起床,花10分鐘冥想,讓自己在接下來的時間,更能專注,這也是一種不牽涉到其他人的中性自私,說它們是自私,是因為我們願意花時間在自己身上,對自己很自私,卻不會干擾到別人。有人會說,如果我們利用自己冥想,或刷牙的時間,去幫助可憐的人,不是更好嗎?但每個人都有自己的需求,我們為了讓自己獲得利益,或許可能剝奪我們去幫助別人的時間,但是,如果我們不先關注自己的身心健康,我們如何能夠真正的去協助別人呢?因此,我們可以相信某些自私的行為,其實是中性的,這些行為,不會立即幫助到別人,但也不會立即傷害到別人。或許它讓我們少了許多時間,去直接的幫助別人,但這些行為,卻可以讓我們有更好的狀態與條件,去幫助別人。      另外,也有一種自私,我們稱為「好的自私」。這種自私,可以同時讓我們自己與別人得利。Harry Browne稱這種自私,為「雙向的交換」,透過雙方願意的交流,我們可以達到彼此都能獲得想要的東西。Stephen Richards Covey稱這種交換為「雙贏的交換」。最簡單的雙向交流的例子,就是以物易物。我把我的一張CD,拿去跟別人交換我一直沒機會買的CD,我不僅得到我想要的,也讓對方得到他想要的。還有,當我們想要跟別人一起做事情時,要勇敢的邀約,得到對方的許可,因為,我們喜歡兩個人一起合作的感覺,這是雙向的交流。有許多活動,我們都需要跟其他人一同參與,因為這些活動,讓我們和他人,同時獲得雙向的交流。這些好的自私的形態,對我們雙方彼此間的互動,都有好處。      當我們反思這三種不同的自私時,我們可以告訴自己,如果我們想要極大化自己的幸福(這是每個人都想要的),我們就要逃避壞的自私(因為長遠來看,它對我們的福祉並不好),然後,樂意去選擇中性或好的自私。我們要跳脫只聽到兩種選擇的聲音:要不,就是自私自利,要不,就是以別人為優先。事實上,我們有第三條路可以走,那就是為自己與別人打造雙贏的局面。     根據賽斯在《夢、進化與價值完成》及《個人實相的本質》中說,「每個族類只會以合作的方式,在生物上,將自己的存在,與其他族類一同考慮。」那就是「合作性冒險」。和他人相處,彼此間的交互作用,有競有合,難免會有意見不同,產生摩擦與爭執,或是陷入一些人際關係上進退兩難的局面。「合作性冒險」是要讓我們對自己慈悲,同時,對別人也慈悲。「線性的因果」強調以牙還牙,以眼還眼,做好事得好報,做壞事得惡報,種什麼因,必然得什麼果。但是,不是所有的事情,都這麼僵化的。在人與人互動的過程中,常常有些扭曲。說扭曲也好,說改變也好,暫且把這個點,稱之為轉捩點。這轉捩點有兩個定義:一是改善,一是改變。改變是改成其他模式,再繼續發展,而改善,則是將事情做到一個圓滿的處理。由於轉捩點的產生,我們就不一定會看到種什麼因,得什麼果了,於是,所造成的因與果,也很不一樣。因此,「愛的互助合作」是自私自利的最高表現。愛自己,很自私,但也很棒,因為,只要不妨礙他人,凡是對自己好的,都是每個人的必須。還有,因為太愛自己,我們才會更愛別人,自私自利的人,也會他私他利。再者,自私自利的一群人,如能彼此合作無間,更能完美搭配,追求至善。所有的合作,都不是競爭的,而是截長補短,精益求精,達到最完備的社會生活模式的,我們期待更多自私自利,與他私他利的人,能為社會謀求更多的福祉。 Powered by Firstory Hosting2023-11-0413 minThe Oakwyn PodcastThe Oakwyn PodcastEp. 185: Happy Hour with Jenny WunKick back and relax with host Michael Uy, recurring guest of the pod Jenny Wun, and the Podfather as they flow through different conversations; from coping mechanisms, nostalgia for the pre-smartphone era to the joys of having their own podcasts!2023-09-2051 minFocal Point on Vison Australia RadioFocal Point on Vison Australia RadioFocal Point (60min) - 06 Sep 2023On FOCAL POINT: Ranjit Jacob, has just purchased Visitech Magnifiers and is very excited about the future.
