愛的凱歌 (Adore Him)Crown Him with GloryHi, 各位聽眾朋友們，平安！歡迎收聽愛的凱歌(Adore Him)，我是Judy。 在浸信會出版的聖詩《頌主新歌》一書中，將〈齊來頌讚耶穌聖名〉(“All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name”)、〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)以及〈來擁戴主為王〉(“Crown Him with Many Crowns”)這三首聖詩，分類在「尊貴榮耀」(Glory and Honor)此主題。美國現代作曲家Sandra Zylstra結合以上這三首聖詩，改編成雙鋼琴曲，並將這首改編曲命名為“Crown Him with Glory”。在聆聽由我們團隊錄製的這首改編音樂，我們先來聽聽這三首聖詩背後的創作故事與歷史。 首先，第一首聖詩〈齊來頌讚耶穌聖名〉(“All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name”)。此聖詩的詩詞是由Edward Perronet所創作。Perronet的父親是英國聖公會的牧師。Perronet信仰的成長不僅受父親的影響，更深受父親的兩位好友、也就是衛斯理兄弟(John and Charles Wesley)所影響。這可從後來Perronet甚至加入了衛斯理兄弟在英格蘭佈道旅行的行列，作為見證。在約翰衛斯理的日誌中，有一段關於這位年輕人，跟隨威斯理兄弟在佈道旅行中，受到迫害的記載。日誌中，約翰衛斯理這麼敘述：「人們突然靠近，將他推倒，把他丟進泥沼裡。因此，當他從那些迫害他的人身邊爬起來，再次進入我們聚會的地方，屋子中的我們，沒有一個人能夠認出他從哪裡來，也不知道他到底是誰。」 另外，關於Perronet和衛斯理兄弟之間的關係，還有一個故事。約翰衛斯理曾多次鼓勵Perronet對會眾講道，但他一直推辭、不願意接受這個邀請。在一次聚會中，約翰衛斯理並未事先告知Perronet，直接當著會眾宣布，當天講道的講員是Perronet。在一開始的驚訝與遲遲不肯上台講道後不久，他最後還是走向講台，並開口說道：「我要傳遞在這世上曾被宣講過的一篇最偉大的講道。」接著，他翻開聖經，從馬太福音第五章「登山寶訓」這段聖經經文開始讀起；他讀了馬太福音5-7章，讀完後，他就安靜地走回座位。 Perronet後來因為與威斯理兄弟對於誰能主持聖餐抱持不同的看法，再加上，他向衛斯理兄弟提議脫離英國聖公會 (Church of England)當權者的管理、卻受到拒絕，自此之後，Perronet與衛斯理兄弟分道揚鑣，在Canterbury獨立牧會，直到過世。 翻看過去的軼事與記錄，雖然人們對於Edward Perronet人際關係方面的評論，多是負面的—有人說他很沒有耐心、脾氣很不好、很難與他相處…，然而他單單尊崇與高舉主耶穌，毫無保留，投入一切的熱情與關注，也不怕付上代價的跟隨主、愛主，這點是沒有人反駁的。1779年，也就是離開衛斯理兄弟後，Edward Perronet創作〈齊來頌讚耶穌聖名〉(“All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name”)的詩詞；幾年後他又將詩詞稍作修改。而美國的一位木匠、也是作曲家Oliver Holden在1792年，也就是Perronet過世的那一年，為這首詩譜曲。〈齊來頌讚耶穌聖名〉(“All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name”)此聖詩的曲調原有三個。而今天在節目尾聲向大家呈現、彈奏的曲調，則是採用美國作曲家Oliver Holden創作的曲調。 接下來第二首要介紹給大家的聖詩為〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)。這首詩詞原文為拉丁文，由中古世紀中期的一位主教Theodulf (Bishop of Orleans)所寫。Theodulf深受當時法蘭克國王查理大帝(Charlemagne)的賞識，成為宮廷成員重要的一份子，並負責管理多個修道院。此外，他也是一位學者、詩人、聖經翻譯學家、以及支持各樣藝術發展的人。然而，當查理曼大帝過世，他的兒子路易士(Louis the Pious)繼任王位後，就控告Theodulf聯合敵人，危害帝國的安全，最後以通敵的罪名逮補他，剝奪他一切原有的權利，並將他拘禁在一個偏遠的修道院。約四年後，他在那裡過世。 聖詩〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)是Theodulf在被拘禁期間所寫的詩。詩的內容，根據馬太福音第21章耶穌騎著驢進入耶路撒冷城的場景。當耶穌騎著驢進入耶路撒冷城時，眾人把衣服鋪在路上、還有將砍下的棕樹枝也鋪在路上。眾人前行後隨地呼喊著說：「和散那（原有求救的意思，在此是稱頌的話）歸於大衛的子孫！奉主名來的是應當稱頌的！高高在上和散那！」 關於聖詩〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)，有傳聞，有一天當國王路易士走在路上、經過一個地方，在不遠處就聽到有人在唱歌，歌聲很好聽，他大受感動，便問身旁的人：「那歌聲從哪來？是誰唱的？」得知那歌唱的人竟然是他先前下令拘禁的Theodulf。國王路易士(Louis the Pious)因為深受Theodulf的歌聲與詩詞的內容所感動，當下釋放Theodulf，使他重獲自由，並下令以後棕樹節主日(Palm Sunday)教會要吟唱聖詩〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)。然而，後來學者們查考，普遍認為此故事是杜撰的。 比起這個杜撰的故事，更重要的是，雖然Theodulf被當權者所厭棄，他在受監禁中所寫下的聖詩〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)，卻不受限制，流傳下來。直到今日，許多基督徒與教會藉由唱這首聖詩，向主表明：唯有耶穌基督是萬王之王，萬主之主。 我想，Theodulf在深受查理大帝重用的時期，應該很懂得在宮廷中，如何周旋於各種權利之間的角力，也多少知道如何適時地對國王奉承。而當時他自己本身，不論他的神學著作、他在文學上展現的天份、他對修道院的經營與管理，還有他在其他領域上展現的聰明才智，也獲得了許多的青睞與讚美。然而感謝查理曼大帝的兒子—新的繼任者國王路易士對他的猜忌—剝奪他先前一切的尊貴與榮耀。想必這前後天差地的境遇，使得Theodulf心靈全然醒悟，確實地明白何謂真實的尊貴與榮耀。世上的權利、地位與名聲都可以瞬間歸於無有，它們也實在是虛空。唯獨耶穌基督配得一切的榮耀、尊貴與我們全心全意的愛戴。 今日我們吟唱聖詩〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)所採用的曲調，是十六世紀時，由德國的作曲家Melchior Teschner (1584-1635)所創作。到了十九世紀，John Mason Neale (1818-1866)將這首聖詩翻譯為英文。 最後，也是今天要和大家介紹的第三首聖詩 〈來擁戴主為王〉(“Crown Him with Many Crowns”)。這首聖詩詩詞最初的作者是Matthew Bridges。英國在十六至十八世紀期間，有一段新教與舊教(天主教)之間對抗的歷史。新舊教之間緊張與對立的氣氛，在十九世紀幾乎趨於緩和。然而，當時二十八歲的Bridges出版了一本關於教宗是一切迷信根源的書籍。另外，他還藉由出版詩集和聖詩，表達與維護新教的立場。但奇怪的是，在二十年後，他重新皈信天主教，並在這不久之後，寫了一首有六節歌詞的聖詩—聖詩〈來擁戴主為王〉(“Crown Him with Many Crowns”)。此聖詩詩詞是Matthew Bridges受到啟示錄19: 12此經文的啟發而寫下的。啟示錄19: 12：「他的眼睛如火焰，他頭上戴著許多冠冕；又有寫著的名字，除了他自己沒有人知道。」寫下這首詩後，Bridges將這首詩命名為「撒拉弗之歌」(“The Song of the Seraphs”)。 1874年，Godfrey Thring對於Matthew Bridges 寫下的這首聖詩詩詞很不滿意，覺得內容過於充滿天主教色彩。Godfrey Thring認為詩的內容中提到「童貞女的兒子」(“the virgin’s son”)以及「神秘玫瑰的果實」(“the fruit of the mystic rose”)，非常的不恰當。Thring還批評Bridges在詩中沒有強調耶穌復活的重要性，非常的糟糕。結果Thring自己另外寫了六節的詩詞，強調頭上戴著許多冠冕的耶穌，祂不僅僅是
