The Carolina Hurricanes rode their 22-year old rookie to a 4-3 win at Madison Square Garden. The 2 points puts the Canes over the top in the Metro, their second division crown in as many years as the Hurricanes won the Central Division a year ago. Vincent Trocheck, Jordan Martinook, Teuvo Teravainen and Sebastian Aho each scored in the win. The Canes will close out the regular season on Thursday night at home against the Devils.
