Sie erzählt uns ihre eigene Geschichte in puncto Ernährung, die lange Zeit von Disziplin, Kontrolle, Nulldiäten und Gewichtsschwankungen geprägt war. Rückblickend sagt sie: »Ich habe schon früh sehr kopfgesteuert gegessen und keine gesunde Beziehung zum Essen gelernt.«
Später studierte sie Ernährungswissenschaften - in der Hoffnung: »Wenn ich mich täglich damit auseinander setze, dann muss es doch klappen mit der gesunden Ernährung«, erzählt Bastienne. »Und trotzdem hat es mich nicht davon abgehalten, weiter zu essen.«
