As I was writing, the fires were blazing across Australia and I thought a lot about the interrelation between our human bodies and nature that surrounds us (and that we are). As part of the process, I recorded a number of podcast-conversations with dancers, musicians, installation artists, somatic practitioners, wanting to know (amongst other things) what the concept ‘spatial awareness’ signifies to them.
