2022-05-1407 minKruegermusikScenes From Dreams, Movement IV: A Love That Should Not BeI composed "Scenes From Dreams" between 2013-2015 for my Masters of Music thesis at Butler University. SFD is my second symphony for wind ensemble. The original 3 movements were composed over 2 years, but the dreams were from 2009, when I was 19. I composed SFD to make sense of my dreams and make peace with myself.
In 2019, I began having dreams about a love that could be, but shouldn't be. I composed an additional 4th movement that is added to SFD. This movement was composed in 2019/2020.
Each movement from SFD can be purchased separately at $75 or for $250 total for all 4 movements. Contact me...

The original source material for this piece came from my first composition for band, "A Keltic Overture". The original composition was premiered in 2006, when I was 16, by the FZS Band. I took the main motives from the 2006 piece and recomposed a new piece! This is around a Grade 3 1/2 and is approachable by most high school bands. Score and Parts $75 (delivered via Google Drive).
