Julma mies surmattiin attentaasissa, ja Lina pakeni lapsineen Pohjois-Saksaan. Hän avioitui Intimiteatterin perustaja Mauno Mannisen kanssa. Tälle avioliitto oli performanssi ja Linalle keino päästä eroon pahamaineisesta sukunimestään. Lina kuoli yksinäisenä ja sairaana Fehmarnin saarella vuonna 1985.

KirjakerhoKirjakerho: Kun Suomessa nähtiin nälkää. Kirjailija Aki Ollikainen ja Nadja NowakSuomessa vallitsi ankara nälänhätä 1860-luvulla. Aki Ollikainen (s.1973) huomasi hautausmaalla nälkään kuolleiden muistomerkin ja alkoi selvittää nimettömäksi jääneiden uhrien kohtaloita. Sitten hän kirjoitti hienon esikoisromaanin Nälkävuosi. Kirja ilmestyi vuonna 2012. Nyt tuo teos Nälkävuosi, White Hunger, on ehdolla kansainvälisen Man Booker -palkinnon saajaksi.
Kirjakerhossa kuullaan uusintana Aki Ollikaisen haastattelu vuodelta 2012. Toimittajana on Nadja Nowak.

Viikon kirjaViikon kirja: Historioitsija Mirkka Lappalaisen ja Pohjolan leijona - Kustaa II Aadolf ja SuomiKustaa II Aadolf oli vain 17-vuotias punatukkainen teini, kun hänestä tuli vuonna 1611 Ruotsin kuningas. Hän sai työparikseen 28-vuotiaan kansleri Axel Oxentiernan.Yhdessä nämä nuoret miehet tekivät köyhästä Ruotsista mahtavan suurvallan. Sen itäinen osa oli Suomi, jossa valllitsi havumetsän laki. Siellä kuningaskin eksyi ja joutui rämpimään sohjossa, sillä teitä ei maassa juurikaan ollut. Historioitsija Mirkka Lappalainen voitti Tieto-Finlandian teoksellaan Pohjolan leijona - Kustaa II Aadolf ja Suomi 1611-1632. Mirkka Lappalainen ja Nadja Nowak keskustelevat legendaarisesta kuninkaasta ja hänen ajastaan.

Joskus murrosikäisenä Kyrö kuuli kaverinsa papan valittavan joka asiasta, kuinka hän siitäkin niin mielensä pahoitti. Tämä jäi pyörimään mieleen vuosikausiksi ja nyt, taas kerran, kirjailija saa selitellä luomuksensa ajatuksia esimerkiksi presidentti Kekkosesta tai siitä, miksei arkkuun voisi mennä verkkareissa.
