The combat is safe, though, with arrows awarding points rather than doing serious damage and the storm is mostly an obstruction. But the Great Games bring more than the competitions, they bring familiar faces and familiar voices.

If that wasn’t challenge enough, the tower is surrounded by water, full of deadly water sharks. And if you don’t reach the top of the tower quickly enough, you’re chum.

After a quick goodbye to Iona and to Nausicaa’s parents, the gang returns Versi to her temple and ventures back to the site of their first labor: The Mithral Forge outside of Estoria.
