Europe maintains an interdependent relationship with China, relying heavily on the country for critical rare earth materials. In fact, daily EU-China trade amounts to 2.3 billion euros. However, European countries lack a unified approach on how to engage with China. Tensions in US-China relations, coupled with geopolitical challenges such as the war in Ukraine, further complicate the landscape.
