#18 - Blue in Green, a jazz standard by Bill Evans
I play through Blue and Green, and describe how I approach learning the tune. I go over a variety of chord structures including rootless voicings, which require a musician to play all notes in a chord except for the first, and most fundamental one. This tune is deceiving because it seems like a simple little 11-bar tune, but it is easy to lose one's place in the form with such a hypnotic, and cyclical piece of music.
