周末变奏 Key Changecaroline：我们的音乐，需要彼此极致的信任 很难简单描述 caroline 的音乐是什么样子的。我们可以听到来自后摇滚和原声民谣的双重根源，质朴，忧伤，同时反传统的音乐结构里装载着丰富的、汹涌的情绪。一边是悦耳、优美的旋律与和声，另一边则是不规则的节奏、破坏性的声音设计，两边的碰撞，正如乐队在舞台上所呈现出的独特张力。
本期节目的音乐人嘉宾便是 caroline 这支伦敦八人先锋乐队的主创之一 Mike O'Malley。在他们 2025 年发行第二张专辑《caroline 2》之际 ，我和 Mike 通过网络探讨了一下乐队独特的创作理念，关于他们独特的舞台站位、乐队成员之间的化学反应、反差所营造的极致张力、有趣但不玩梗的歌曲命名，以及专辑中那首让人潸然泪下的合作曲目《Tell me I never knew that》背后，与 Caroline Polacheck 的合作故事。
