الخُطبة
▬▬
كانت الخطبة تسبق الزواج، وكانت تعتبر رباطًا لا يسهل فصمه، فهي خطوة إلى الزواج (انظر تث 20: 7، 22: 23و25و27و28، هو 2: 19و20، لو1: 27، 2: 5)، وهذا ما يفسر اهتمام يوسف الشديد بالعذراء مريم ورغبته في تخليتها سرًا (مت1: 18و19). وكان يطلق على الخاطب أحيانًا لفظ "رجل" أي زوج (تث 22: 23، مت 1: 19)، كما كان يطلق على المخطوبة أحيانًا، لفظ امرأة (تك 29: 21، تث22: 24، مت1: 20).
وكان يصحب الخطبة في غالب الأحيان - تقديم مهر مع هدايا ثمينة للعروس ولوالديها وإخوتها (تك 22:24و53، 12:34، خر 16:22و17، هوشع 19:2و20)، أو القيام بخدمة معينة (تك 18:29و27) أو بأعمال خارقة (يش 16:15، قض 12:1، 1صم 25:18).
وكان والد العروس - في بعض الأحيان - يدفع مهرًا قد يكون أرضًا عند زواجها كما حدث عند زواج عكسه ابنة كالب (قض 15:1)، وكما حدث عند سليمان الملك من ابنة فرعون مصر (1مل 16:9)، أو إهداء جارية كما حدث مع رفقة (تك 61:24)، ومع ليئة وراحيل (تك 24:29و29).
وقد جاء في شريعة حمورابي أنه إذا فك رجل خطبته لفتاة، فلوالد الفتاة الحق في الاحتفاظ بجميع الهدايا التي قدمت للعروس، أما إذا فك أبو الفتاة خطبتها، فكان يجب عليه أن يدفع ضعف ثمن الهدايا التي أهديت للعروس. وما أشبه اليوم بالبارحة!
وقد استخدمت الكلمة مجازيًا في تصوير علاقة إسرائيل بالرب، حيث يقول الرب: "قد ذكرت لك غيرة صباك، محبة خطبتك، ذهابك ورائي في البرية في أرض غير مزروعة" (إرميا 2:2 - انظر أيضًا حزقيال 8:16)، ولكن بعبادة أمة إسرائيل للأوثان، صارت زوجة زانية فيرفضها الرب، ولكنه سيعود أخيرًا ويلتصق بها (هو 2:2و16-23).
كما يقول الرسول بولس للكنيسة في كورنثوس: "لأني خطبتكم لرجل واحد لأقدام عذراء عفيفة للمسيح" (2كو 2:11، انظر أف 25:5-32، رؤ 6:19-8).

أو للخلوات ,

أو للمسات غير مقدسة ,
أو للكلام المعسول الذي بلا هدف ,
أولإشعال الرغبات المكبوتة ,
أو للتجاوزات ,
أو للأمور التي في غير وقتها ,
أو للكلمات التي في غير وقتها ,
أو للعلاقات التي في غير وقتها .
ياليت كل مُقبل علي خطوبة أن يتذكر الآية التي تقول "آية (هو 2: 19): وَأَخْطُبُكِ لِنَفْسِي إِلَى الأَبَدِ. وَأَخْطُبُكِ لِنَفْسِي بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْحَقِّ وَالإِحْسَانِ وَالْمَرَاحِمِ. "
