We know Methuselah was the oldest in the Bible. His name is mentioned elsewhere in 1 Chronicles and Luke but the most we read of him was summed in Genesis 5:27 “Methuselah lived 969 years, and then he died”. That’s all.
In Genesis 6:3, the maximal human longevity is set by the symbolic number 120 and Moses maxed that out. He died at age 120. 120 =3x40.
