Austin News Briefs - Austin American StatesmanAustin's historic violent streak continues following deaths of 2 adults, 6-year-old boyA worried caller led police to discover the bodies of two adults and a 6-year-old boy in a Southeast Austin home late Monday. The latest killings bring the city's homicide death toll to 69 so far this year, Austin police records show. Police found the bodies of James Robertson, 6, and Jennifer Robertson, 36, according to a statement from Austin police. Both had fatal gunshot wounds. A third body belonging to 36-year-old Darius Robertson was also found. Investigators believe he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said. James Robertson would have turned 7 years old next week, according to police records.
